Pretty round and square earth conscious beeswax wraps. I love my round beeswax wraps, they stick really well and being round their so versatile to cover even a small bowl of leftovers, or wrap a little snack. Beeswax has special properties that allow the fabric to breath, making it a cleaner type of food storage enabling food to last much longer than in plastic. I wrap my homemade sourdough bread in paper and then in a large beeswax wrap. It keeps it lovely and fresh for days. Beeswax wraps can be kept in the fridge or the pantry.
Note: The only thing you can’t cover is meat, as they cannot be washed in hot soapy water. I wash my wraps in a little detergent and cold water.
*Tip: If any residue of wax remains on the bowl after the wrap is removed just wash the bowl in hot soapy water and use a scouring pad. Rub lightly and it comes away easily :)
